Remember that the elevator cores, shear walls, and fire exiting provisions will allow you to break up long spans and also serve as partitions for spaces. Do not proceed until you have identified where and how you may apply this thinking as doing so afterwards in the latter part of the design/production phase will be extremely dangerous.
