My initial concept is to express the dynamic movement of tectonic plates to symbolize the geographical formation of Nevada and the exciting motions in the Cirque de Soleil programs. Transform motion occurs when a horizontal plate slides past another, creating a transform fault or transform boundary. A key design intension of my design is to create different dramatic experiences in the complex through the change in spatial volume and lighting intensity.
